Youth for Success

Youth for Success, a youth development program for at-risk-youth ages 13-21 years and their parents /legal guardians. Program offers workshops in youth leadership & personal growth, teen pregnancy prevention at area high schools and collaborating agencies and self-expression through the arts. Through these workshops El Concilio promote responsible behavior, higher education, a reduction in teen pregnancy, a reduction rate of the drop-out rate among high school teens, raise self-esteem and strengthen communication skills between parents and their children. Last year El Concilio served 1099 youth in our Youth for Success Programs.

Family Education & Literacy

Provides classes for Latino adults in order to increase their competencies in English as Second Language, Civics, Basic Computer Literacy and Financial Literacy. Five sessions are held each year in each area. Last year El Concilio served 388 students.

Client Assistance Program

Client Assistance Program provides Bilingual Bicultural direct one-on-one comprehensive information and referral assistance on basic needs and safety net services.

El Concilio assists eligible legal permanent residents and US citizens in applying for a broad range of family based immigration services including guiding the clients though the citizenship process.

El Concilio has been providing information and referral client assistance since 1984, becoming the primary resource center for the Latino farmworker community serving over 15,000 annually in this program.
